interesting, like the sounds

your sounds are "smoother" than a lot of dnb artists use, not so obnoxious. drum clips are superb. i will say that it seems like the project is caught in a rut as far as where it needs to go next; unfortunately this happened so many times to me in the past. As far as an intro though, this is really, really good. haven't heard a good intro to a song in a while, so this is refreshing. i'd say, for your "chorus" or whatever (second movement, more like), try throwing it up in the air, experimenting a little. throw people off their balance, ya know? there's a lot you can do with this piece right now, so go do it! this has awesome written all over it.

Thanks a lot man :D

That was actually a little inspiring. :P I'm glad you liked it and noticed the details I put into it. Yeah, I'll try experimenting and making it a little different.

Thanks for the review, I really appreciate it.

omg...

I really don't see how this made it on the all-time top scoring, but its pretty funny lol. I'm gonna think of this song every time I make easy mac now lol

extremely good! that triplet cut-off bass reminds me of the bass i used in my song a hell of a lot, except it's like 20 times beefier. And the piano? Really nice. I enjoy the through-composed nature of the song, too; dnb by nature is WAY too damn strophic. Thank you for making this masterpiece! It's so awesome in every way. It's got energy AND it's beautiful, even though it has a somewhat "typical" chord progression -- but hey, how else are you supposed to capture listeners? you got me, for sure. you've inspired me to write some "chill" dnb now, thanks!

Thank you man for a great review. The reece is kinda nice, but still it's primitive and with noises.

Awesome

Wow, for hip-hop, this is totally different. Nice sounds. Everything blends together seamlessly; really good stuff!

haywirehaywire responds:

thanks a lot man

Can I call it "peaceful" DnB?...

...If ever there was such a thing as "chill" DnB, it would be this stuff. This is really interesting, unique, not drawn off of the generic, etc. etc. The drum work is also really good. I think it fits really well with the quiet complement of the piano. It also has this bit of silence in it which I like; sometimes I feel that the silence is more powerful than the sound. People should make more stuff like this, not all that chaotic stuff lol. Really, you inspired me to try and write some chill stuff lol.

Thanks, man, glad I inspired you :D

I can't say this is an original concept though. Look up a guy named Nubbinownz, he's really good at chill DnB glitching. He's amazing.

Let's get your shit back to the top...

I'm really sorry that there were ppl that bombed your shit after you made that post, that really sucks. This stuff is mixed really well, even if it isn't really my style lol. It reminds me of basshunter a lot. Keep triplet-ing your ass off bro!

Thanks bro. My most recent songs have been bombed like crazy, but oh well, what can I do about it :). Thanks for the support. :D

Good remix man!

Damn I missed the even 350th review by one mark...oh well. Your stuff is really good, you've got talent and DON'T EFFING LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO BASH YOU cuz they really really suck at life. The mix is perfect, the drums are great, the beats are mixed up nicely, and everything blends together really well. Plus that 8-bit gameboy-style stuff mixes in perfectly with everything else (thank you also for not repeating it longer than any normal human being would wanna sit there and hear it! lol). You have an ear, and that coupled with your own willpower is all it takes to make it to the top. I look forward to hearing your stuff in the future!

P.S. If you ever get to read my post, make sure to check what I posted on your news feed. I'll take on the haters for you lol.

Unrl responds:

Haha. Thanks for reviewing and your comments mate =D

Essentially, night and day.

This is actually pretty decent. The samples aren't overkill, the synth is pretty good, and it's enjoyable. For that, I congratulate you. =) I guess the next step would just be some layering, and your remix would be awesome. Nice song to redo too lol.

Frajola responds:

:D - Thanks

i like this one best

it is a little bit repetitive, but the sounds are crisp and nice. i like how you kicked it into the higher gear at the 1:30 mark. i can definitely tell you put some effort into this one. the main lead sounds a little strange with the bassline, but maybe cuz it's playing at the 4th interval, versus the 3rd or the 5th. it's good tho; i got down to it fo sho =)
